My Story
Hello friend!
My name is Chelsey Rhodes! To start out, let me tell you a little bit about myself. Aside from selling Scentsy, I am a special education teacher. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband & our three children, friends and family, snuggling with my sweet fur babies, Jersey Mae and Stella Rae, and traveling. When I was a young girl, I had two things I really wanted to do when I got older. First, I wanted to be a teacher. It runs in my family and I'm pretty sure I knew that is what I wanted to do since birth. Secondly, I wanted to be my own boss. Now, I realize those two don't exactly go hand in hand, so I discovered a way to make both of them work. In July 2015, I decided I was ready to start my own business. I was on a beach trip with my cousin who sold Scentsy at the time and I started asking her a few questions. After the conversation had been going on for a while, I knew this was something I wanted to give a try. When I first decided to start my own business it was because of very selfish reasons. I wanted the extra income to pamper myself and help pay my bills; however, I had no idea what that $99 join kit would actually do for me. This business has helped me pay bills, travel with my family, and simply just pamper myself, but it has also given me so much more!! I have made friendships that will last a lifetime and have been able to coach and mentor individuals who love Scentsy just as much as I do! Not only has this amazing company helped provide me with extra cash and new friendships, they have also allowed me the opportunity to travel, which is one of my favorite things to do!! Every year, Scentsy offers incentive trips to their consultants. Not only do they offer us AMAZING incentive trips, they also provide us with opportunities to travel to Scentsy Family Reunion (SFR) in different places in the United States. This past year, SFR was held in Austin, Texas. This was my first time attending a Scentsy Family Reunion and I can honestly say I will NEVER miss another one unless it is due to circumstances out of my control. Not only was I able to obtain knowledge to help my business grow, but I also had the best time with my Scentsy family! I know that may sound a little cheesy, but we seriously had a blast! The 2020 SFR will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah. I know it will be just as fun if not more fun than Austin.
